Texans in Telluride

Some Buzz-area families have found themselves neighbors not only in Houston, but in the Colorado town of Telluride. These Texas families enjoy the ski town where kids like Michael Soyer, Thomas McNeill, Jared Plank, Colin Lawrence, Sawyer Hamm, Nikki Kramer, Jackie Kramer and Ceci Bruton can easily bounce back and forth from house to house. An annual highlight for Houstonians is always the holiday party in Telluride, thrown by the Kramer family, including Ilene and Don, Rafaela and fiancé Michael Imiak, Nikki, Jackie, and Isabel.

There was holiday merriment again this year as friends caught up. Ilene bought brined kosher turkeys at Belden’s, and the kids helped Don fry the turkeys Cajun-style. Peter Yarrow of the musical group Peter, Paul and Mary performed in the intimate setting. Don met Peter skiing last year, and they became friends. Also in the crowd were Susan and Mike Plank and kids Jared and Kendall, Jack and Shushana Castle, Laura and Vineet Bhatia and kids Nina and Neil, Robert and Beth Rivera and sons Baz and Zeke, Brittney and Max Tribble, Joseph and Melissa Navone and kids Abby, Gabriel and Ella, Riva Collins and kids Jeffrey, Sophia and Sam, Ivette and Brad Mcneill and kids Thomas, Brad and Claire, and Abby and Mark Salter and their kids Erin, Carly and Kevin.
