Aspen, age 5

My name is Aspen, and I am an incorrigible, shopaholic travel-dog. I enjoy sunning on my pool chaise on beautiful days, but winter is my favorite. There is nothing better than lounging next to a fire. I love Houston, but a good trip to the mountains is the best. Walking to Woody Creek Tavern or an early stroll to Paradise Bakery gets my tail wagging when I go to my favorite vacation spot. When working in the South Texas oil patch, I eat at the Red Dog. Work sure is fun, as long as I get to stop at the outlet mall and go to Wimberley. I am welcome at all the finest stores, but White House/Black Market and Neiman Marcus make me drool. Alas, a neighborhood walk to Barnaby’s and the dog park with my canine mutt sister, Star, is all I really need.
