Troop helps others
The Holy Spirit Episcopal School first-grade Daisy Troop recently completed two service projects that helped the girls to learn responsibility, work and sharing. The girls raised money by doing chores around the house. The money was then collected and donated to the Star of Hope Mission in order to help feed Houston’s homeless during Thanksgiving. The $117.90 that the girls raised helped to feed 59 people a Thanksgiving meal. For the next project, the girls made baby blankets to give to parents of babies in the NICU at Texas Children’s Hospital.
