Lady Bears

The Spring Branch Middle School (SBMS) seventh-grade girls’ basketball A-team won the annual West Houston Basketball Tournament. Led by coach Dara Harris, the Lady Bears were victorious in all three games, including the final championship game against Albright Middle School. The game was close, but SBMS won 25 to 24. The basketball season is now over, but the A-team girls have lunch together with Coach Harris each Thursday and continue their friendships outside of school. They are looking forward to the eighth-grade team tryout and hope to be on the court together again next year.
