Howdy! I am Ellie. I was rescued from a couple in San Antonio who didn’t want me. I love to spend my days chasing squirrels and my nights dreaming about chasing squirrels. In February, I decided to go on an epic squirrel hunt. I snuck out and chased squirrels until I was very lost. Apparently, an epic squirrel hunt was a bad idea. After four freezing, rainy days on the streets, I was sure I’d never find my home. One morning a fireman from the South Main Fire Department rescued and returned me to my home. I’ve never been so happy! While I was missing, I was hit by a car and needed surgery. Since then, I have made a full recovery. I am back chasing squirrels, and I am as fast as can be. Now I love to be with my family more than ever. I will never leave them again!
