Lone Star Saddlebreds, a horseback riding academy in Magnolia, didn’t have a rough ride when some of their Buzz-area competitors, including Story Sinex (pictured, with her horse WC Boogity Boogity), gained favor with the judges at a Texas American Saddle Horse Association show at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy. Some of the riders who won ribbons at the show were Fran Iyer, Chris Tresten, Patricia Reed and Krista Sinex. Lone Star Saddlebred owners and trainers Milo Jones and Koren Mercer led the group.
