Caitlin Campbell got her start in libraries as a volunteer for the Austin Public Library while she was a student at the University of Texas. She went on to get her MLIS from University of North Texas. At first convinced she wanted to work in archives, she was surprised to find she loved working with families and children the most. Now, as a youth manager at the Houston Public Library, she gets to use puppets with satisfying regularity. When choosing her next book to read, Caitlin switches between non-fiction, particularly dense historical tomes, and children's literature, particularly silly picture books.
