Sammie Rahimi

Sammie Rahimi is an artist trapped in an admin’s body! She has worked as a "Jack of all Trades" for Houston Public Library's Print Shop and Communications team since 2014. She has had poems published in collections in her younger years and is currently working on a web comic. She has lived in the Houston area all her 38 years and currently adventures life with her rescue dog, Penny. In addition to breathing extra life into the print shop, she write lyrics and sings, she is a cosplayer, a makeup artist, a freelance illustrator and a designer. Sammie enjoys reading manga in her downtime; it not only relaxes her, but inspires her art, makeup and design!
