Frosting Substitute

Karina Arnold uses this mixture to frost her favorite protein cookie brand Lenny’s and Larry. These protein cookies have low sugar, whole ingredients and delicious flavors. Karina recommends warming the cookie up in the microwave for 10-12 seconds, then sandwiching with this frosting substitute.

Ingredients

½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 scoop protein powder

Optional:
Frozen fruit
1 Tbsp. chocolate nut butter
Pinch of cinnamon

Directions

Mix Greek yogurt with protein powder to make a frosting substitute to slather on cookies or cakes. Refrigerate leftovers. Top desserts with frozen fruit to add a sweet flavor. Great protein flavors include snickerdoodle, vanilla and chocolate. Adding nut butter creates a creamier consistency and stronger flavor.
