Spicy Yogurt Chicken
From Stop and Smell the Rosemary
Ingredients:
2 cups plain yogurt
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons salt
4 bay leaves, crushed
8 to 10 pieces of chicken
Recipe directions:
Mix yogurt, garlic, ginger, chili powder, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, salt and bay leaves in a plastic bag. Add chicken and marinate at least 4 hours or overnight. Prepare grill. Grill chicken about 8 minutes per side. Serve immediately.
