From the owners of Raven Grill comes Cottonwood in Garden Oaks. Part bar, part pub, part band venue, along with an excellent patio (fire pits, games, live music), Cottonwood offers 30 craft beers on tap. From Nitros (where the addition of nitrogen makes smaller bubbles and a creamier experience) to hoppy India pale ales, their list is impressive. (512) Brewing Company out of Austin is represented, as is local favorite 8th Wonder. Their Squirrel Master Burger sports a poblano-stuffed Angus patty, thick layer of creamy pepper jack, crispy bacon and a fried egg dotted with bright green flecks of fresh jalapeño. Besides salads and sandwiches, Cottonwood also offers a Sunday brunch featuring Tres Leches French Toast.
