Kimchi is a Korean dish of seasoned, fermented vegetables. Add that and a fried egg to the burger at Down House in the Heights, and you have the awesome Kimchi Burger. A thick, Augustus Ranch, grass-fed, Texas-meat patty is topped with cheese, kimchi and a sunny side-up egg. The moist challah bun is well accented with bulgogi sauce, the Korean equivalent of a teriyaki marinade. This is a quaint Heights favorite. Be patient if there are crowds.
