Devoted fans were happy to hear that owner Carlos Abedrop continues his Mexican steakhouse roots, where family dining is encouraged. Favorites include the 4 pound-plus ribeye cap ($190) large enough to share with five of your BFFs, or for a smaller group of four, there is the 3-pound top sirloin ($80). Saltillo is smaller in size than its former incarnation as La Casa de Caballo but in many ways with more charm. We like, too, the three-course lunch specials for $20. Try the tasty trio of tacos.
