Alexandria Gonzalez

At school, I participate in the cross country, robotics, and debate team. In my free time, I like to read, watch anime, take pictures and spend time with my friends. I discovered photography during my freshmen year in my yearbook class. My mom had a camera that I could borrow and I fell in love ever since. Writing, however, proved to be a love-hate relationship. As a child, I had always found it difficult and preferred math and science. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I found it more exciting and grew a passion for it that led me to School BUzz.  I was born (the third of six children) and raised in Houston and have found my city to be full of excitement. In Houston, there is always something to do (or eat) that makes the city really fun and diverse, which is why I'm really happy to write and photograph parts of it that I see in my daily life.
