I have enjoyed writing since I was a young child. When I was around 6 or 7, I wrote short stories and poems for fun. I gradually stopped writing and finally started again when I joined my school’s Newspaper Club last year. At my school I am also part of the Varsity tennis team. This year I am also hoping to start a Friends of the Food Bank club with a friend. In my free time I play tennis, create art and play guitar. This past summer I went on a summer immersion program to Spain with a small group from my school; we spent three and half weeks living with a Spanish family, attending Spanish classes and traveling around Spain. I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and have been living in Houston for about eight years now. I enjoy living here, because of the immense diversity. I am delighted to be writing for School Buzz.
