Vishakha Medha Rao

I'm Vishakha Medha Rao, a sophomore at the Awty International School. My love for writing began very young, when I created a mini-newspaper for my neighbors! This passion flourished over the years through my contributions to my student council’s newsletter. I am currently a staff writer for my school’s newspaper, The Rampage. I’m an avid STEM enthusiast, design engineer for robotics team (Awtybots), and mentor. I’m a trained violinist/vocalist, who enjoys performing for various fundraising events. The incredible diversity at Awty and the vibrant Houston community remind me how fortunate I am to be part of such a unique environment and inspires me to give back everyday. Finally, a fun fact about me – I’m an avid fan of noodles, doodles, and poodles!
