As the humidity disappears and temperatures drop, pumpkins begin to appear on doorsteps and gauzy spider webs cling to windows. The classic tissue-paper ghosts and jack-o’-lanterns are not overlooked at St. Agnes; however, we do add our own spooky twist to Halloween traditions!

If you take a look in the library, you’ll spot the glass display case decorated with gravestones and plastic skulls surrounding a horrific sight—an array of ghoulish and banned books. If you dare to venture past the security tape winding around the entrance, you may bump into the library skeleton, who appears in different places each morning.

Though the decorations send shivers down your spine, there are other frights and fears that St. Agnes students have described.
