A few weeks ago, I asked for anyone with expertise in producing videos to consider partnering with our department. We had several super offers but one really stood out. The Memorial High School Journalism/Video Class of Ms. Jacqueline Murchison really stepped up.

The MHS team and ours, along with The Buzz Magazines, will begin producing Public Service Announcements (PSA) that we will post on our website. The theme of these PSAs will be safety and security tips everyone can use at home, while traveling, and in their cars. In fact, they have already produced two short videos that have not been completely edited. After school convenes again in January, our teams will begin to really focus on producing some really great and helpful videos.

We were really excited and encouraged when high schools students ask to partner with us in preventing crime. This will be a fantastic collaborative effort that will have lots of benefits. Thanks to Ms. Murchison and her students. This will be lots of fun.
