It was a birthday bash to remember. Act 1 was just the beginning of the “The Sharon Show,” a non-reality, reality show where the star, birthday girl and Buzz columnist Sharon Brier changed clothes 12 times as 12 characters in 12 acts. About 80 friends helped her celebrate her entry into her 65th year. She created a music video by Scott Ross that included six out-of-town friends (from Germany to Seattle, Florida to California) performing to the tune of On the Road Again. “Acts” at the party included dinner divas, travel and fashion, fun and crazy, poker wives, mah jong players and Hadassah and City ArtWorks. Friends in blonde wigs put on skits to roast and toast Sharon.

Editor’s note: The Buzz is happy to welcome back Annie McQueen, our Buzz About Town columnist, from maternity leave and we are thrilled to report that her twin babies, Cash and Lila, are doing well. Please send your high-res photos and community news to The Buzz at [email protected] or 5001 Bissonnet, Suite 100, Bellaire, Texas 77401. Items are published on a space-available basis.
