Highest musical honors

Memorial High School students, including (pictured, from left) Catherine Cai, Ryan McArthur, Jonathan Keith, Cameron Trout, Tiffany Hu, Hannah Susman and Meredith Aucock, were selected to perform in All-State concerts. The group competed through several levels of auditions beginning in the fall of 2014 to qualify at the state level. About 1,600 Texas students are selected through a process that begins with more than 60,000 students from around the state vying for this honor. They perform in one of 15 ensembles (bands, orchestras and choirs). The Texas Music Educators Association sponsors the Texas All-State competition.
