DASH off to shop 

DASH (Design Antique Show Houston) is a new, outdoor home décor market. Browse through home furnishings includes antiques, furniture, arts, collectibles, gifts and more! Still in need of the perfect Mother’s Day gift? You’ll find lots of ideas here. The fun starts Friday evening with a pre-view party, including wine, lights bites and live music (plus a portion of the $25 admission will be donated to Child Advocates). DASH will be open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday, too, for a $10 admission. See the details.

Nathan’s Famous Hot-Dog Eating Contest Qualifiers

Nathan’s July 4 hot-dog eating contest has been a tradition for nearly 100 years. This Saturday, be sure to check out the qualifier contest at Memorial City Mall. The top male and top female finishers will earn a spot to compete on July 4. Festivities include games, an inflatable slide, carousel, playground, and, of course, hot dogs. Note: Buzz publisher Michael Hoffman will be one of the judges. See the details.

Sprint for Life

Memorial Rocks the Ribbon
