The Condit community, friends, family and neighbors had a blast at its first annual Fun Run and Boosterthon last week! Condit Cats ran a total of 18,236 laps at Bellaire’s Lotfin Park.

Students received pledges from friends and family in 40 states and 15 different countries, which helped them exceed their fundraising goal of $30K, which will go toward family benches for the gathering area of the new school. They also raised enough funds to ship 66 pairs of shoes overseas to children in need through The Great Shoe Takeoff.

Principal Dan Greenberg had promised the students that if the fundraising goal was met, he’d spray paint his hair green. The students were excited to exceed their goal and loved seeing their principal’s green hair.
