1970s disco diva party
When Tracy and Harry Faulkner first met and moved to their home four years ago, they vowed never to throw a party without a purpose. This was certainly true with Tracy’s 45th birthday bash in September benefitting The Women’s Home and the gala that honored Joanne King Herring, Jane Cizik, Adele and Ber Pieper, Bette Stead, Kay and René Joyce, and Mandy Kao. At the Faulkners’ party, guests dressed in their ’70s best and danced and donated the night away to the sounds of DJ Martin. All guests were asked to bring an auction item, and any birthday gifts received were donated directly to The Women’s Home, to help women in crisis. The hosts and over 50 guests collected over 40 bottles of wine and other items for the auction, including an autographed Pink Floyd framed album. Gala co-chairs Tracy and Harry Faulkner and Fran Fawcett Peterson were far-out cool.
