Stayin’ alive
The Memorial High School Class of 1970 celebrated its 45th reunion at the home of former classmate Danny Davis. Laurie (Rosenthal) Lee was the headmeister who chaired the event that hosted 100-plus people. They toasted Barbara Puntch Dorado, who came from Madrid, Spain, where she’s lived since college graduation. Friends caught up on each other’s lives as they dined on Pico’s Mexican food on tables inside and outside the spacious home. Other notables there were Congressman Chet Edwards and Judge Martha Hill Jamison. Seventies music blared on the sound system, and football games played on all TVs. Saturday night fever has new meaning 45 years later.
