Softball-tournament champs

The West University Softball Association’s 12U Ice (pictured) opened the summer tournament season with a first-place finish at a tournament in Conroe. The All-Star team had practiced only three times before the tournament, but still came out on top. The team lost the second game of the tournament, but the girls battled back to victory, winning the next four consecutive games.
