Houston World Series of Dog Shows

The whole family will enjoy the 39th annual Houston World Series of Dog Shows at NRG Park, which includes daily competitions among every dog breed. Events include Frisbee, flyball, barn hunt, obedience. Agility and canine musical freestyle. See more details. 

Houston Zoo Cool Nights 

Take a break from the heat of the day by hanging at the Houston Zoo Cool Nights. The Houston Zoo has extended its hours every Friday night, with last entry for the night being at 7:30 p.m. This opportunity allows the whole family to enjoy music and activities that will entertain both kids and adults. With the current Pokémon Go craze sweeping the nation, here are some local Pokémon Go events happening this weekend. 

Pokémon Go Houston Pub Crawl: If you’re 21+ and love Pokémon Go, then you’ll love this event! Leave the kids at home and come downtown where you’ll move throughout bars in Downtown Houston while getting the chance to meet new people and catch Pokeballs. See more details.

Pokemon Go Food Truck Park: After a long day of playing Pokémon Go, why not take a break by enjoying some live entertainment and food from local food trucks. This food truck park allows Pokémon Go players from all over to connect and enjoy some delicious food. See more details.
