The luncheon started with mimosas, Bloody Marys and wine before a three-course lunch was served to celebrate Jerre Williams’ milestone birthday at the Junior League Garden Room. Fifty of her closest friends were culled from her involvement with Memorial Drive Elementary, Memorial High school class of 1965, HITS Theatre, Houston Junior Forum, Victory, American Cancer Society, Memorial Woman’s Club, Memorial Drive Garden Club, and some other non-profits she volunteers for. Her family and friends came from Palestine, Austin, Wimberley and Seguin. Betty DuBose, Marilu Garza, Marcia Wasson and Debbie Eakin were in the crowd.
