Michael HoffmanPlanning summer travel can be stressful, even more so with all the negative publicity about customer service that airlines have been receiving lately. But if you find yourself with extra time in an airport these days, there is a silver lining. Making delays more enjoyable is the trend of chef-driven airport dining across the country, including Houston’s IAH airport, as restaurant columnist Dai Huynh writes about in This Month in Dining. Or you could enjoy some quality time bonding on the open road. Chances are some of the Buzz-area high school graduates in this month’s annual Where Are They Headed? feature have summer adventures planned with family. Travel writer Tracy Barnett chronicles some memorable father-son trips in this month’s Travel Buzz. With a milestone birthday coming up this year, I’ve been contemplating a cross-country road trip with my two sons. The only problem is I have a two seater. The boys could draw straws.
