Cade Moulton, Reece Moulton

Brothers Cade and Reece Moulton (from left) stand on top of the Houston Astros dugout. Both boys play competitive baseball and are huge Astros fans. They plan to watch the game at home with family on Friday and are going to Minute Maid on Saturday, as they expect their favorite pitcher Justin Verlander to start. (Photo: georgefloresphotography.com

So you couldn’t get tickets to see the Astros face the Yankees in the first game of the ALCS Playoffs. Me neither (cry). There are plenty of fun places to watch the game in the company of other Astros fans, though, so pick one of these places and root for the Astros!

Evelyn’s Park

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, Evelyn’s Park will be showing the game on a huge screen. There will be food and drinks from The Ivy & James, starting at 12 p.m.

Grub Burger Bar

Located in CityCentre, Grub will be airing the games on all TVs and will be featuring happy hour prices.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria

Also located in CityCentre, NYC-style pizzeria Grimaldi’s will also have the games on and will take 10 percent off for anyone wearing Astros gear.

Lucky’s Pub

This bar is recommended by all Houston sports fans as one of the best places to watch games. Lucky’s has two big projectors, and will likely be setting up mobile bars for the playoff games.

Minute Maid Park

For all the “away” Astros games, there will be live screenings at Minute Maid Park and outside on Crawford Street so that Astros fans can watch in a baseball atmosphere on Oct. 16 and 17. There will be live music, food trucks, and games on Crawford Street before each showing. To attend the street festival on a day when a home playoff game is happening, you must have a ticket to the game to enter the stadium. Grab your free admission voucher here

8th Wonder Brewery

Located in EaDo, 8th Wonder will be having drink specials and food trucks with prime viewing screens for Astros watching.

Kirby Ice House

Kirby Ice House will be showing all the games on TVs (with sound!).

Revelry on Richmond

From 5 p.m.-2 a.m. on Friday the 13th, Revelry on Richmond will be having a viewing party with 28 TVs and 3 big projectors to watch the game in their parking lot. Chairs are welcome.

The Branch

The Branch, a gastropub in Spring Branch, is also having a viewing party on Friday from 7-11 p.m. RSVP to the Facebook event here.

How to Watch from Home

Or you could live stream the game from home on your computer at the following sites: Fox Sports Go, Hulu, or mlb.com Postseason TV.

Go 'Stros!
