Spring Branch Education Foundation awarded 105 scholarships totaling $163,900 to Spring Branch Independent School District seniors at the SBEF 2018 Bright Stars of SBISD, Celebrating Academic Excellence awards program at The Westin Houston. Pictured (from left) are Christian Bates, Stratford High School; Lisa Weir, Memorial High School principal; and Grant Nunley, Memorial High School. The boys received the Memorial Middle School Class of 2014 Scholarship. The event honored scholarship recipients as well as teachers and principals of the year. Throughout the school year, Spring Branch ISD staff members contribute to the SBEF Employee Campaign, funding scholarships for SBISD graduates who are children of district employees.
