A strong start

The RISE Soccer Club Central Elite U10 boys team (pictured) won the gold division title at the Labor Day Cup held in Spring. This was the first tournament of the season and a great start for the team, led by coach Juan Zapata. During the two-day tournament, the boys played against several teams, including the Texans SC Houston, Total Football Club Academy and Westbury SC. Their final game ended in a tie at the end of regulation, and went to a sudden-death penalty shootout for the win. The proud team members are (pictured, from left) Paolo Rainusso, Max Mullervy, Dylan Jett, Milosh Lazarevic, Aydin Hasica, James Gray, Keshav Harpavat, coach Juan Zapata, Alfonso Fuentes, Max Merricks, Aiden Garza, Lucas Garibaldi and Gianlucas Alvarez.
