There has been a lot of buzz around St. Agnes about the newest addition to the Academy: the “Student Commons.” We are all really excited. The new building has been advertised as a collaborative space, with big open spaces filled with a lot of tables and chairs. It is a great space to talk and collaborate. Juniors Savannah Marks, Natalie Castillo and Vianca Sula share their thoughts on the newest building.

“Why do you like the student commons?”

Natalie: “It is very roomy. There are lots of different areas that you can go into”
Savannah: “It is open. There are lots of chairs and stuff. The open atmosphere is really unique.”

“What do you wish you could change about the student commons?”

Natalie: “I wish there were more cubbies.”
Savannah: “More cubbies.”

“The debate: The Library or the Student Commons?”

Savannah: “Commons”
Natalie: “Commons”
Vianca Sula: “Commons”

Regardless, we are very thankful to our donors who have helped us gain such a valuable space. With the addition of so many changes this year, like a new schedule system and a new building, there is one thing that remains STAGnant here: community.
