Mary Reed’s annual birthday/pajama party is always a Girls Only dinner. Several game questions sparked conversation, including, “What is the most exotic thing you have eaten?” Bernadette Loweree got a gasp when she replied she ate fried scorpions. In the gift exchange among 25 guests, a few of the most fought-over gifts were sexy Santa PJs, a lighted Joy sign and, of course, Starbucks gift cards. Four lively teams competed in a Battle Royale of Christmas songs before Vicki Friedman brought out a birthday cake for yet another song.
