Meredith Leigh Crockett and Marcus Perri Soper II were married at Church of Saint John the Divine, with a reception in the lobby of Pennzoil Place. The couple met in seventh grade during SJD Confirmation Camp at Camp Allen. They ended up at Lamar High School together, becoming closer friends, and became best friends during college at The University of Mississippi. They began dating in January 2017 and were engaged on Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018. The bridal party consisted of Meredith’s three sisters, Camille and Evelyn Crockett and Rachel Ortiz, Christiana Harris, Ashley Olmsted, Hope Dale, Abigail Maddux, Carolyn Garrett, Faith Crockett, Lydia Koch and Adell Anderson. The groom's party consisted of his younger brother, Marshall Soper, Nicholas Kerensky, Gaston Kroneman, Ross Oliver, Charles Peterson, Greg Ortiz and Joseph Anderson, with Cameron Palmore, Walker Agnew, Jr., Greg Davis, Carson Crockett, Covert Anderson and Leo Ortiz. Happy parents are Cheryl and Barry Heaton, Tim and Anna Marie Crockett and Mark and Marsha Soper.
