Who is Alison Purcell?
Alison Purcell, a recent graduate of Carnegie Vanguard High School, was one of 15 students out of more than 10,000 who applied to compete in the 2019 Jeopardy! Teen Tournament. Alison (pictured here with host Alex Trebek) traveled to LA with parents Ari and Heather and younger sister Dani and later watched the episode with family and friends at a watch party. Alison said, “Being on Jeopardy! was absolutely mind-boggling. The second I stepped on set, everything became so surreal. Even though I may not have won, the experience was one I’ll remember and treasure for the rest of my life.” She’s off to The University of Texas at Austin this fall.
