The National Council for Jewish Women, Greater Houston Section held its 31st annual gala, “Hot Havana Night” at Silver Street Studios. More than 300 people attended, in fedoras and flowers, to support NCJW. Co-chairs of this year’s gala were Meg Grossman and Rachel Strauss. Elyse Freed served as emcee for the second year. Jackelyn and Zachary Silverman (pictured, at left) were honored with the Robin Perlo Berry Next Gen Leadership Award, named in memory of Robin Perlo Berry, to recognize outstanding young leaders. Sara Speer Selber (at right) was honored with the Faith and Humanity Award.
