Determined to play
The Emery/Weiner School wrapped up a successful volleyball season. Middle-school players (pictured) adapted to new protocols so everyone could safely play during the pandemic, and they were able to get in several games. After a slow start, the team made it to the playoff semifinals before a tough loss to St. Mark’s Episcopal School in the third-place game. They wrapped up the season with an outdoor awards ceremony to celebrate the team’s efforts.
