MichaelThe Buzz has written and published over 10,000 articles in print and online since we began almost 20 years ago. Love, Love Me Do by Cathy Gordon in this month’s issue has to be one of my all-time favorites. During this same period, Alex and Judy Fazzino were steadily amassing a collection of over 845 Beatles items and memorabilia that rivals anybody’s Fab Four collection. I was fortunate enough to attend the photo shoot and get a personal tour. Alex and Judy also shared some amazing stories about their adventures. Music has the magical ability to transport you back to the time you first heard it. Seeing this collection with Beatles music playing in the background immediately took me back to 1964, when I sat in my parents’ living room listening to I Want to Hold Your Hand on our record player and watching the yellow and orange swirling label from Capitol Records spinning at 45 rpm. Fifty-seven years later, I’m happy to discover that Beatlemania – including, apparently, my own – is still alive and well. [email protected]
