54th WorldFest Houston
The film festival runs all weekend long at different locations around Houston. The 35 new, award-winning independent feature films will be shown at Memorial City Cinemark 16 Theatres. See the detailed film schedule here.

BYOBard: Shakespeare’s Birthday Edition with Main Street Theater
On Friday evening, celebrate the Bard by tuning in via Zoom to watch Shakespeare monologues from local thespians and the Rienzi collection’s own Second Folio. Register here.

Movie Night at Market Square Park
Market Square Park will be showing Nine to Five on Friday night at 8 p.m. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome, and beer and wine will be for sale on site.

Craft Beer Festival
In Kemah this Saturday afternoon, the Boardwalk is hosting a Craft Beer Festival. Attendants 21 and over can sample 72 of the best craft beers in Texas.

Bellaire Citywide Garage Sale
All day Saturday, no permit is needed to hold a garage sale in Bellaire. Drive or walk around Bellaire to browse for hidden treasures at neighbors' garage sales.

Robert Ryan, Laura Ryan, Michael Ryan, Paige Ryan

Join Walk With Me Houston virtually or in-person this year. In 2020, participants Robert, Laura, Michael, and Paige Ryan walked a route near their home to support Easter Seals Greater Houston.

Walk With Me Houston
On Saturday, go for a non-competitive 5K walk to benefit Easter Seals Greater Houston. In order to be inclusive to all, participants can either choose to walk a route near their home or join the walk at the Houston Zoo.

Twilight Picnic in the Park
On Saturday afternoon and evening, head to the Nature Discovery Center for a family outing (2-4 p.m.) or an evening soiree (5-8 p.m.) to raise funds to support the NDC's mission to ignite life-long curiousity, understanding, and respect for nature through education.

Russian Spring Celebration
On Sunday afternoon, the Russian Cultural Center invites Houston to celebrate spring in style of the Russian folk holiday. There will be live music, vendors, and food trucks.
