Culinary event for CanCare
The inaugural wine dinner benefiting CanCare was a sold-out success. Originally scheduled to take place at The Annie Café & Bar, the dinner was moved to the second-floor space at B&B Butchers after a fire at The Annie closed the restaurant temporarily. Chef Robert Del Grande, a cancer survivor, reflected on his experience and the need for programs that support patients and caregivers. The culinary experience included wine pairings and more. The evening served as a lead-up to CanCare’s fall luncheon, which will take place Sept. 30 at the Westin Memorial City. The upcoming luncheon will be chaired by Donna and Norman Lewis.
