This issue reveals the winners of our 16th annual Buzz Photo Contest. As The Buzz has grown, so has our contest. What began with residents dropping off a few hundred photos on CDs has evolved into a contest with more than 1,200 online submissions, judged by a panel of professional photographers. This year’s winners range from age 16 to 73. Some are serious amateurs who waited patiently for hours, hoping to capture the perfect shot. Others happened to be in the right place at the right time, some with just a cell phone, but also the creative instinct to see the shot. I hope you enjoy the winning images and will be inspired to enter your own photos in next year’s contest.
