Christmas proposal

Sarah Garde and Ben Little don’t remember where or how they met, exactly, but it was during their middle school years. They remember running around the neighborhood and going to JMH grocery store with friends. The two remained friends throughout high school – Sarah went to St. Agnes Academy and Ben to St. Pius X High School – and started dating in college. Their schools were about an hour away from each other, but they visited as frequently as they could. Sarah went to Texas State and Ben played baseball for Southwestern; Sarah cheered him on at most of his baseball games. After six years of dating, Ben proposed on Christmas Day next to their Christmas tree. It was a special, intimate moment for the two of them. Afterward, they went to the home of Sarah’s parents, Tim and Jill Garde, for their family’s annual Christmas dinner, where they celebrated with extended family members. The next morning, they hosted a brunch to celebrate with Ben’s family members, including Leslie and Dave Little.
