Memorial High School alum Whitney Cubbison (pictured, left, with fellow MHS Class of 1994 alum Sapna Amin Mehta) released her debut romcom novel, Will There Be Wine? The book, while fiction, was inspired by Whitney’s own experiences as an ex-pat divorcee living in Paris and navigating the world of dating in a foreign country. After graduating from MHS, Whitney went to UCLA and eventually started her career in writing and communications. A corporate-communications job with Microsoft took her to Paris and set the stage for her first novel. Whitney enjoys coming home to Houston to visit family and friends and made a recent appearance in town while on her book tour.
