Emily Fultz (pictured), a senior at Memorial High School, won the 2024 Rookie Swine Showmanship award at the Spring Branch FFA Alumni’s 46th annual Show and Sale. Spring Branch FFA students worked for months to prepare their livestock projects for the show and sale. Students spend significant time at the Spring Branch FFA barn twice each day to feed and care for their animals. They learn the needs of their animal in terms of feeding, bedding, supplies, veterinary visits, conditioning, and training, to ensure each animal is well cared for. 2024 was a record-breaking year for Spring Branch FFA with the most students involved in the program, the most guests in attendance at the show and sale, and significant financial support from livestock buyers.
