PATRONS for Bellaire Parks and the City of Bellaire host this free concert series at the Great Lawn at Bellaire Town Square. This evening, Ezra Charles and the Works will perform. Bring your own cooler and picnic blanket and enjoy time outdoors with neighbors.

Hermann Park Conservancy, presents The Great Elephant Migration, a month-long public art installation featuring 100 life-sized sculptures of Indian elephants made from dried lantana plants. The free, public art installation invites visitors to experience the beauty of wildlife conservation and sustainability. The majority of herds are located in the Commons, with additional herds at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and in the Texas Medical Center. Find a map here. Hermann Park Conservancy, in partnership with a handful of local organizations, will present a series of engaging activities alongside the installation. The lineup of free events offers additional educational and entertaining opportunities for visitors to connect to the message of the exhibit. This Sat., April 5, enjoy elephant-inspired family crafts hosted by Asia Society of Texas.

Bellaire Trolley Run

Registration fees begin at $38; free for spectators
Bellaire City Hall
The City of Bellaire and Patrons for Bellaire Parks host the annual Bellaire Trolley Run on Saturday morning, including a 1-mile division that starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by the wheelchair 5K division at 7:50 a.m., the 5K at 8 a.m., and the stroller 5K division at 8:10 a.m. The race starts in front of Bellaire City Hall. After the race, join the Post-Race Party for family fun.

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of the historic Henshaw House at Nature Discovery Center, which serves as NDC's headquarters and indoor program space. Join NDC and their resident party animals for a celebration including food, refreshments, entertainment, and nature crafts and programs for the whole family.

Final Four: UH vs. Duke

Alamadome, San Antonio
The Houston Cougars are heading to the seventh Final Four in program history. The Coogs take on Duke in the national semifinals at the Alamodome in San Antonio. UH will be the first Texas team to play in a Final Four held in the state. Watch with fans at a Final Four Watch Party at POST Houston (5-10 p.m.), complete with a For the City specialty cocktail. Free for adults and children 3 & under!; $40 Fun Band – Enjoy unlimited access to all attractions, carnival games and more.
Join the Horn community for a day full of family-friendly fun, including carnival games, giant inflatables, petting zoo, Holey Moley Golf, a caricature artist, and so much more. The event is open to the entire community and proceeds benefit the school.

Visit the two MFAH house museums – Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens and Rienzi – for an afternoon of free, family-friendly programs that connect art, nature, history, and science. Park at Bayou Bend and take the complimentary shuttle between locations. Highlights include music by AFA Chamber Music Academy and performances by Houston Youth Chamber Orchestra, a workshop for making musical instruments, a musical scavenger hunt, and more.
