Happy Friday! It’s Cinco de Mayo weekend, Derby weekend, and there’s lots of fun going on around town. Plus, Game 6 of the Rockets Playoffs is tonight.
NBA Playoffs: Rockets vs. Warriors
Game 6: May 2, 8 p.m.
The Rockets will play the Warriors in Game 6 of the Playoffs tonight at 8 p.m. Watch via Space City Home Network, ESPN. If necessary, the Rockets will head back home and play the Warriors in the final round of the Playoffs, Sunday, May 4, 7:30 p.m. Watch that round on Space City Home Network, TNT/TRUTV/MAX. Go Rockets!

One of the most popular Ska bands from Mexico with a 28 year-long history of making incredible music together, this band is sure to be the perfect way to celebrate Cinco at Miller! Originating in 1995 and quickly became one of the most important bands in the Mexican Ska movement. Twenty-eight years and 9 albums later, they are still selling out shows and rousing audiences with their exuberant performances. Presented in partnership with the Consulate of Mexico in Houston.

Guac and Roll at the Cinco Cinco 5K, 10K on Sunday, May 4! The race benefits the HRC Foundation, which promotes health, community and empowerment through events that encourage physical activity while partnering with local nonprofits.

Enjoy a fiesta-filled walk or run event, produced by the Houston Running Company, that celebrates Cinco de Mayo with music and other festivities. Walk or run the course of your choice and enjoy a post-event celebration hosted by Karbach Brewing Company, including a Cinco de Mayo market and festive drinks. Race proceeds will benefit the HRC Foundation, which promotes health, community and empowerment through events that encourage physical activity while partnering with local nonprofits. The 5K and 10K events will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by an award ceremony at 9 a.m. The Kids and Family 1K will kick off at 9:30 a.m.
