Raise ‘em up

Vanessa Ames, Kristen Collins, Dana Barton, Brooke Lee, and Jordan Seff welcomed more than 460 guests to the Crime Stoppers of Houston Raise ‘Em Up for Texas gala. The second annual event, held at The Revaire, was chaired by Lee, Barton, and Collins with strategic chairs Ames and Seff, and raised $2 million for safety and prevention programs. A lively happy hour kicked off the event that included a silent auction, live auction, raffle, and dancing to Nobody’s Fool band. When guests took their seats for a Texas-themed dinner, emcee Johnny Bravo greeted the crowd followed by Rania Mankarious, Crime Stoppers’ CEO. Mankarious presented Chris Shepherd and Lindsey Brown of the Southern Smoke Foundation with the McIngvale Family Humanitarian Award. The program wrapped up with the announcement of new initiatives, the Women’s Collective with 50 women joining Crime Stoppers in 2026 and the SafeSpace Student Hub, a first-of-its-kind digital platform offering students a confidential place to seek help, resources, and guidance.
