Audubon’s Birds of America opens March 8 at HMNS (members see it first March 7), and will showcase a rare opportunity to see John James Audubon's Birds of America, published as a series between 1827 and 1838. This famous book features life-sized, colorful illustrations of birds and is considered a landmark work in ornithology.
