The Houston Genealogical Forum Presents: Irene Walters and Mind the Dust: Brick Walls Coming Down

Have you been doing some research on your family and reached a brick wall? Attend the HGF meeting on Oct. 5 for Irene Walters’ presentation, "Mind the Dust: Brick Walls Coming Down", and hear about ways to approach your brick walls that should make them develop cracks, holes and eventually tumble to dust.. Irene began her genealogy research as a teenager and has taken her family lines back to France, Ireland, and Germany. She is the cataloger for Houston Public Library’s Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research and the coordinator for Clayton's involvement in the digitization project research.

Houston Genealogical Forum holds monthly meetings with local and nationally known speakers. Visitors are always welcome at HGF meetings! Come early (9-10 a.m.) for "munchies and mingling" and meet HGF members who are always willing to talk about their passion for genealogy and share their experiences. Visit www.hgftx.org for more information about the meetings and learn about benefits available to HGF members, such as discounts for day-long seminars and access to website resources.
