Houston Zoo’s 100th Birthday Bash

The Houston Zoo is celebrating its 100-year anniversary with a birthday party extravaganza. Upon arrival to the day-long celebration, you will be greeted by animal ambassadors and learn how they can help save their wild counterparts, along with other surprises in the McGovern Front Plaza.

Event highlights include:

• Guest speakers at the Reflection Pool, followed by family-friendly entertainment
• Centennial-themed keeper chats every half hour at different animal habitats, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
• Zoo history trivia
• An opportunity to build your own birdhouse
